Compassionate, non-medical presence at the bedside during the final days and hours, offering comfort to your loved one and steady support to the family.

⏱ Flexible hours - 📍 End of Life

When someone you love is nearing the end of life, the days and hours at the bedside can feel both sacred and overwhelming. Families often don’t know what to expect, what to say, or how to care for themselves while caring for someone else.

Bedside Support provides a calm, steady presence during this time. I sit with your loved one, offering comfort through gentle touch, music, reading, prayer, or quiet companionship, while helping create a peaceful environment that reflects their wishes and values.

I also support the family by explaining the natural changes that happen as the body prepares to die, helping everyone feel more prepared and less afraid. Whether you need someone to hold space so you can rest, eat, or step away, or you simply want a guide beside you through the vigil, you won’t have to face this moment alone.

My role is non-medical and works alongside hospice, nursing staff, and medical providers, never in place of them.

Ideal for:

  • Individuals in the final weeks, days, or hours of life
  • Families who want guidance and reassurance during a vigil
  • Caregivers who need rest or respite at the bedside
  • Anyone who wants to ensure their loved one is not alone at the end
  • Families honoring a vigil plan or final wishes created in advance

Includes:

  • Compassionate bedside presence and vigil sitting
  • Comfort measures such as music, reading, gentle touch, and ambiance
  • Education on the signs and stages of the dying process
  • Emotional and spiritual support for the dying person and family
  • Respite time so caregivers can rest and recharge
  • Support in carrying out rituals, readings, or final wishes
  • Gentle guidance in the time immediately after death
